I、Teaching analysis

本单元通过Amy 和Sam 在Daming家中做客的场景,来继续学习如何去描述现在正在发生的事情以及句型Do you want some noodles? Yes, please./ No, thank you. 的用语,并通过一个Rhyme的学习,来培养学生的语言节奏感。

II、Teaching aims

1、能听、读、说making dumplings/cooking vegetables,并了解其含义;

2、能灵活运用重点句型,并清楚其运用的场合和语气;

(1) What are you doing ? I’m making dumplings./ I’m cooking vegetables.

(2) Do you want some ? Yes , please !/ No thank you .

3.能模仿本文对话,并能在一定的语境中运用所学语言进行交际;

4.培养学生的注意力和观察力,激发学生积极思维,挖掘学生运用语言的创造能力。

Ss:He is making noodles.

T:Yes.He is making dumplings.Today I bring two new food,do you want to know what are they?

Ss:Yes!

2、(1)New word: dumpling

T:OK,the first food is dumpling(饺子).(全班读、个别读、小组读)

引导生问:What are you doing?

T:I’m making dumplings.

(2)New word: vegetable

T: The second food is vegetable(蔬菜). (教读vegetable)

Ss:What are you doing?

T:I’m cooking vegetables. (男女分开读,小组读)

T: I’m making dumplings. I’m cooking vegetables. What is the difference between make and cook?
