No.60
No.60 is the culmination of reknowned Thai choreographer Pichet Klunchun’s two-decades-long research into the language of traditional Khon dance. Stripping the classical form of its face-mask and sequined costume, Pichet scrutinizes the 59 poses and movements in the Theppanom canon which all Thai classical dancers acquire by rote-learning. From his own classical dance training since young, Pichet came to believe how traditional system limited dancers' creativity and started to seek a potential No.60 to break the ancient restriction. He decontructed the canon using diverse fields of knowledge such as architecture and physics, then generates six new principles that undergird the 700-year-old system and presents a manual of hand-drawn diagrams and notes that allows the young generation to think and learn rationally, free of mysticism and ideological imposition of history.
As No.60 unfixes the rigidity of classicism, it also embraces the sense and soul of Thai legacy. It unfolds a complex dialogue between tradition and innovation as they inhabit and circulate within the same continuum.

ALL POSSIBLE BODIES AP91
“All Possible Bodies AP91” is a contemporary theater work created by the artist duo “Xiao Ke x Zi Han” in 2025. Commissioned by Shanghai Power Station of Art and the Chanel Culture Fund, it explores contemporary identity and worldviews through the medium of the physical body, personal memory, cultural identity, and ethnic dance.
The work takes the fusion of personal and ethnic identities as its research methodology, undertaking an archaeological excavation of personal histories within contemporary life and cultural integration. Blending dance theater with documentary theater, it presents a research and theatrical project composed of personal chronicles, offering a response to the presence.
“Xiao Ke x Zi Han” invited seven members to co-create the piece. Drawing upon their distinct ethnic backgrounds, personal life experiences, and bodily narratives, they use dance as a medium and themselves as the method. Using vibrant individual expression as a catalyst, they try to cultivate a space where reflections on identity are brought into the current social context.

DU BOUT DES DOIGTS
Du Bout Des Doigts is a collaborative work by Belgian artists Gabriella Iacono and Grégory Grosjean, which premiered in October 2020.
A man and a woman dance together through time. Starting from their fingertips, they reimagine the art of dance, traveling across legendary stages — from Broadway to Paris, and from Brussels to Harlem. Iconic dance pieces of the 20th century are reimagined in miniature settings; the performance scenes are simple yet evocative, unfolding a chronological epic themed around dance. Audiences can recognise familiar dance forms in the work, such as hip-hop, ballet, rock-and-roll dance and musical theatre, while also sensing the artistic styles of Pina Bausch and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker.

HERO%
The contemporary dance work Hero% by French choreographer Karine Ponties premiered in 2015.It has toured across multiple European countries including Belgium,France, the Czech Republic and Luxembourg, performed as a solo piece by dancer Eric Domeneghetty.
The dancer portrays two contrasting personas: an ordinary man in a neat suit, and a classic comic-book superhero clad in a red leotard. The piece depicts a figure bearing dual identities as a mortal and a hero, who marches forward passionately on a path transcending the mundane world, never giving up and staying true to himself.

After All is a celebration of our vulnerable yet courageous existence. Choreographer and performer Solène Weinachter blends dance, comedy, storytelling, and theatre to explore the ultimate question: what happens at the end of life? By re-enacting the funerals of loved ones and imagining her own, she creates a space to face death, loss, and grief.

Dance Drama
RED CLOUDS OVER THE HORIZON
Set against the historic backdrop of the great Long March of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, the dance drama Red Clouds over the Horizon centers on the perspective and inner emotions of Yun, a female Red Army soldier, and portrays a group of Red Army women fighters represented by Yun, Qiu, Xiu, Wa and Hong.
Adopting poetic and romantic artistic expressions while leveraging the narrative traits of dance dramas, the production adopts a microcosmic approach to reflect the grand era. It features magnificent, epic battle sequences alongside delicate depictions of emotionalnuances and vivid, lifelike characters. From a contemporary aesthetic perspective, the drama pays tribute to the glorious Long March and all heroic revolutionary predecessors.
