A postdoctoral position in the Nuclear Organization and Gene Expression Section of the Laboratory of Cellular and Developmental Biology (NIDDK) is available to study mechanisms of chromatin organization and gene regulation.

The successful candidate must have an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or a related field and no more than five years of postdoctoral experience. The position requires the applicant to possess a solid set of programming skills(e.g. Python, R), a desire to work with large data sets generated by next generation sequencing techniques(ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, Hi-C, etc.), and a strong record of collaborative interactions with biologists. Statistical training is highly desirable.
